Brief description
Light, irregular shape handrails running along sections of boardwalk. Integrated to the boardwalk structure with changes in direction and angle respond to subtle earthworks on the ground. To ensure the lowest impact on the mountain, all materials was carried by hand to locations and all materials selected are able to be fully recycled at the end of their life.
This project won a Gold Medal in Landscapes of Distinction as a commercial construction project in the $250k+category.
